Terms of use & community guidelines

1. Provider and scope
These terms apply to the TalkFlag app (Android and iOS), provided by Daniel Holderied (AnDa Development), Kreuzstraße 10, 72351 Geislingen, Germany, email: daniel@holderied.org. By signing up you accept these terms and the privacy summary.
2. Minimum age
TalkFlag is only for people aged 18 or older. By signing up you confirm that you are at least 18. Accounts of minors are banned and deleted.
3. Your account
- One account per person. Multiple accounts – especially to get around bans or limits – are not allowed.
- Truthful details. Your profile (e.g. age, gender, country) must be accurate, and profile photos must show you.
- Gender and date of birth are locked after the account is created. If you made a mistake, contact daniel@holderied.org.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in (Google or Apple) secure.
4. Community guidelines – prohibited content and behaviour
- Harassment, insults, threats, stalking, or continuing to message someone after a clear "no".
- Hate speech targeting origin, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics.
- Spam and advertising, including links to other services or recruiting for other platforms.
- Sexual content without consent and sending nude images or pornographic content.
- Any content involving minors in a sexual or exploitative context – this leads to an immediate ban and is reported to the authorities.
- Fraud and scams, e.g. asking for money, investment or crypto schemes, phishing, sextortion.
- Sharing other people's data (photos, names, addresses, chats) without their consent.
- Illegal content, copyright infringement, bots, automation or tampering with the app's safety features.
5. Moderation, reporting and blocking
You can report and block other users at any time from the chat. Reported chats, including images, are reviewed by administrators. Violations can lead to content removal, restrictions, and temporary or permanent suspension or deletion of accounts – for serious violations without prior warning. Abusive false reports are also a violation. To appeal, email daniel@holderied.org.
6. New-chat limit
To prevent spam, each account can start only a limited number of new chats per hour – currently 3 on the free plan and 20 with Pro. Existing conversations are not affected.
7. TalkFlag Pro
- Pro is a one-time purchase (currently €9.99) – not a subscription.
- Payment is handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store; refunds follow the respective store's rules.
- Pro is linked to your account and can be restored on a new device via "Restore purchase".
8. Invite bonus
When someone redeems your invite code, you both get 7 days of Pro for free. In case of abuse (e.g. self-created second accounts) bonuses can be revoked and accounts banned. The programme may be changed or ended at any time.
9. Availability and liability
We aim for reliable operation but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Users are responsible for their own content and behaviour. Our liability is unlimited for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health; otherwise it is limited as permitted by German law.
10. Termination and account deletion
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Delete account. This removes your profile, photos, the link between you and your chats, and your login. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.
11. Changes
We may update these terms, e.g. for new features or legal changes, and will announce material changes in the app in good time.
12. Contact and governing law
Contact: daniel@holderied.org. German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
